ABOUT Whole wheat nankhatais RECIPE

Melt in the mouth, Indian cookies made with wheat flour for the healthiness.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Whole wheat flour 100 gm
  2. Rava 50 gm
  3. Besan 50 gm
  4. Salt a pinch
  5. Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Sugar 1/2 cup or as reqd
  7. Baking powder 1/8 tsp or a pinch
  8. Baking salt 1/4 tsp
  9. Ghee 1/2 cup or as reqd
  10. Finely chopped or grated pista and almonds as reqd

Instructions

  1. Lightly roast WWF, rava and besan. Powder the sugar along with few cardamom seeds.
  2. Add all the ingredients and form a dough. No need to knead, just bring everything together.
  3. Keep the dough in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Shape as desired and sprinkle grated nuts.
  5. Keep on a tray lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 18-20 minutes.
  6. Cool on a wire rack and store in airtight containers.

Will definitely try but can v replace ghee with oil?
