ABOUT Fish 65/Fish pakora RECIPE

This makes a good starter for parties as it tastes excellent with no smell of fish.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Any firm boneless white fleshed fish(I used king fish) - 250 gms
  2. Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
  3. Coriander powder - 1 tsp
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  5. fennel powder - 1/2 tsp
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  7. Corn flour - 1 tsp
  8. gram flour/besan/chickpea flour - 2 tsp
  9. gram flour/besan/chickpea flour - 2 tsp curry leaves(chopped finely)
  10. Salt
  11. oil

Instructions

  1. Remove the skin from the fish and cut it into chunks.
  2. Marinate it with all the above ingredients except oil for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat oil and pinch small balls of the mixture and drop in oil.
  4. Let the temperature of the oil be between medium-low to medium-high.
  5. Fry for minutes until crisp.
  6. Serve hot.
