Ingredients to make Wheat Rawa, Methi, Carrot and Peas Fried Fritters.

  • wheat Rawa 2 cups
  • gram flour 1/2 cup
  • methi leaves finely chopped 1/2 cup
  • carrot grated 1/2 cup
  • Green peas 1/2 cup
  • garlic crushed 1 1/2 tsp
  • Ajwain 1 tsp
  • sesame seeds 1 tbsp
  • chilli powder to taste
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • dhania powder 1 tsp
  • oil for Deep frying

How to make Wheat Rawa, Methi, Carrot and Peas Fried Fritters.

  1. Mix Wheat Rawa and Gram flour
  2. Add washed and finely chopped Methi leaves and grated Carrot.
  3. Coarsely dry gring Green Peas and add.
  4. Add all masala and 1 tbsp hot oil. Mix well to form a dough by adding minimum required water.
  5. Make cylindrical shaped small fritters ( ivory gourd shaped).
  6. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry 4 to 5 fritters turning occasionally.
  7. Take out on an absorbant paper when colour changes brown.
  8. Enjoy with a cup of hot tea or coffee.

My Tip:

Be careful while adding water to make a tight dough , otherwise fritters won't be crispy. In Gujarat this fried fritters (Muthia ) is added to " Undhiyu " A Gujarati vege delicasy .
