Ingredients to make Homemade fresh tomato sauce no preservative

  • 1kg fresh medium ripe red tomatoes
  • sugar 2 tbsp or as per taste
  • salt 1tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1/2 tsp or as per taste
  • vinegar or lemon juice 3tbsp
  • Mixed herbs 1tsp
  • oil 3tbsp
  • garlic 8-10 clove

How to make Homemade fresh tomato sauce no preservative

  1. Wash and pat dry the tomatoes.
  2. Microwave tomatoes in microwave safe or borosil glass bowl with lid for 8 min
  3. Now peel out tomato skin and take out excess water
  4. Now put all the ingredients in mixer jar blend it properly for about 5 minutes.
  5. If any lumps are there, take out with the help of spoon
  6. Microwave this tomato mixture for about 6-8 min without lid
  7. Now add 1tbsp vinegar allow to cool and store in air tight glass bottle
  8. If you want more of the shelf life, keep it inside the fridge

My Tip:

Tomatoes should not be over riped or under ripe, tomatoes should be red in color, if seeds r more take out seeds then cook tomatoes in microwave
