Ingredients to make Chilli Catfish(pabda fish)

  • 4 catfish [ pabda fish]
  • salt
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • green chillies 4
  • red chilli powder half teaspoon
  • tomato chopped - 2
  • mustard oil
  • Nigella seeds - 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves

How to make Chilli Catfish(pabda fish)

  1. 1st marinate fish with turmeric and salt for 5 minutes and fry them in hot mustard oil in a wok. Then add some more oil and add add nigella seeds to it ,saute for 2min
  2. Add green chilli and chopped tomatoes saute it for 4min
  3. Add coriander powder half teaspoon ,Half tea spoon of cumin powder, Half teaspoon turmeric powder ,half teaspoon red chilli powder, little salt. Saute it for 4 min,
  4. Add water 1cup and put in those fried fish in low flame wait until the water level becomes half and add coriander leaves, cook it on a low flame for 2min and now its ready to be served

My Tip:

Dont use any kind of paste of chilli. Only green chilli chop
