Ingredients to make Wholewheat farfalle pasta homemade

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 egg
  • 2tsp olive oil
  • Pinch of salt
  • Enough water to boil
  • FOR THE SAUCE :
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2tsp sugar
  • 1 tin dabur tomato puree
  • 5 garlic
  • Pasta seasoning
  • Parmesan cheese 2 tbsp
  • pepper as per taste
  • salt as per taste
  • chilli flakes as per taste

How to make Wholewheat farfalle pasta homemade

  1. Take flour make a well add salt and egg in between knead if it's dry add few drops of water until a smooth dough forms. rest for 30 min and then roll out thin either using rolling pin or pasta maker,cut into desired shapes .
  2. Take enough water boil with 1/4 tsp salt Add pasta and cook for 5-7 min.
  3. Strain save some water.
  4. For pasta sauce. Add olive oil into a pan heat the oil a bit add garlic saut add onion saute it, then add the tinned tomatoes, pasta seasoning, chilly flakes and pepper powder.
  5. Add few table spoons of the pasta water to the cooking sauce. Once it is almost dry, add the boiled pasta, salt, give it a good stir. check for seasoning, sprinkle paremsan cheese [grated] and serve hot.
