Ingredients to make HOME MADE ANAAR BEET JAM no preservative

  • pomegranate 4 medium size
  • Beetroot 1medium size(grated)
  • sugar 3 cups
  • Citric acid 2 tsp
  • Vanilla essence 3-4drops(optional)

How to make HOME MADE ANAAR BEET JAM no preservative

  1. Wash n cut anaar(pomegranate) take out all the seeds n blend in mixer grinder
  2. Now sieve this anaar juice
  3. keep 1tbsp of this residue and discard remaining residue
  4. Boil grated beet . anaar juice and 1tbsp juice residue which was kept aside (,this will give crunchy taste in jam ) for 10min in medium flame on gas stove now add 3cups sugar and citric acid cook for 20-25 min
  5. In between stir so that it should not burn, Now take little mixture inbetween your 2 finger when 1 string start forming switch off gas cool n store in sterilised airtight container
  6. You can use this jam For a month or more no need to refrigerate

My Tip:

You can microwave grated beetroot for 3 min and you can also add lemon juice also if citric acid is not available
