Choco Burst Cake

Ingredients to make Choco Burst Cake

  • Maida/Flour 1 cup
  • Chocolate colour - a few drops
  • Milk 1 cup
  • Dahi/Curd 3/4 cup
  • Powdered sugar 3/4 cup
  • Butter 3/4 cup
  • Baking Soda 1 tsp
  • Drinking Chocolate 1 tbsp
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Cocoa powder 4 tbsp
  • Butter and Flour for dusting the pan

How to make Choco Burst Cake

  1. Preheat the oven at 150 degree centigrade for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Sieve all the dry ingredients (maida, cocoa powder, baking powder, soda and drinking chocolate).
  3. Mix together butter, dahi and sugar in a bowl.
  4. Slowly whisk the maida mixture and the wet ingredients followed by milk and add the chocolate colour.
  5. Grease the baking pan with butter and sprinkle flour over it.
  6. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes at 150 degree centigrade until a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out clean.
My Tip: Add Chocolate colour and a few drops of chocolate essence.
