Ingredients to make Karimeen fry

  • 1 whole medium size Pearl spot fish
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 1/6tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
  • 1/4tsp crushed pepper
  • 4tsp coconut oil

How to make Karimeen fry

  1. Take a small bowl, add all the spices mentioned above.
  2. Blend well, now make a well like in centre of the bowl and add a tsp of coconut oil, mix well.
  3. Rub the masala all over the fish thoroughly and keep in the refrigerator for 20mins.
  4. Heat a frying pan add 3tsp coconut oil and shallow fry until crisp and brown from both the sides.
  5. Serve warm with onion and lime wedges.

My Tip:

You can use any oil of your choice.
