Wheat flour soup

Ingredients to make Wheat flour soup

  • wheat flour 1/4 cup
  • water 2 cup
  • oil 2 tablespoon
  • garlic 2 cloves
  • cinnamon 1 small stick
  • cloves 2
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste
  • sugar small pinch(optional)
  • Chopped vegetables of your choice 1/4 cup ( I used carrots and beans)
  • Chopped coriander leaves a handful
  • Mixed Italian seasoning 1/4 teaspoon
  • lemon juice 1/2 tablespoon (optional)

How to make Wheat flour soup

  1. In a non stick pan, heat oil, add chopped garlic, cinnamon stick, cloves and saute for few seconds
  2. Add wheat flour and cook for a minute or two just to eliminate the raw flavour, do not over cook
  3. Add water, salt, black pepper powder, sugar, herbs, chopped vegetables and coriander leaves.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes stirring continuously to avoid lumps
  5. Add lemon juice for tanginess
  6. Discard cinnamon stick and clove before serving
  7. Add butter if you want

My Tip:

I like my veggies little crunchy, you can choose to par boil or steam your vegetables before adding it to the soup
