Desi Quesadillas

Ingredients to make Desi Quesadillas

  • 250grams wheat flour
  • 2-4 medium potatoes
  • 2tblspn mango Choonda(any brand Or home made)
  • 1 cup boiled sweet corn
  • 2 tblspn oil
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tspn red chilli powder (kashmiri)
  • 1-2 green chillies optional
  • 1/2 turmeric
  • 1 tspn cummin
  • curry leaves
  • Corriader to add

How to make Desi Quesadillas

  1. Knead dough of the flour and keep in fridge
  2. Boil potatoes cool and peel keep aside
  3. Heat 1tblspn oil in a non stick pan and splutter cummin
  4. Add salt and turmeric
  5. Just random cut boiled potaotes and saute in the oil
  6. Add spices to potatoes mix well and cover cook 2 min
  7. Now make balls of the dough and roll out Rotis ,one by one keep in a flour dusted tray to avoid sticking
  8. Heat skillet ,grease it and start Roasting the Rotis
  9. Cool and place the Rotis in a plate
  10. Apply a spread of the Mango Choonda and place zeera aaloo one one side
  11. Add boiled corn and spring onions chopped on this side with potatoes placed
  12. Close this Roti on to the filling and cut into two forming to halves
  13. Serve with slices of fresh tomatoes and some corriander

My Tip:

Do not over grease Rotis Use any filling of choice
