Ingredients to make Whole wheat flower bread with spicy paneer

  • Whole wheat flour 150 gm
  • salt as reqd
  • sugar 1 tsp
  • Instant yeast 1/2 tsp
  • Lukewarm water 125ml
  • olive oil 1 tbsp
  • paneer crumbled 100 gm
  • onion 1 cut into small pieces
  • capsicum 1 cut into small pieces
  • tomato 1 deseeded and cut into small pieces
  • coriander leaves as reqd
  • turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
  • chilli Powder 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala 1/4 tsp

How to make Whole wheat flower bread with spicy paneer

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Saute onion till translucent. Add capsicum, tomato, salt and other spices and mix well.
  2. Add crumbled paneer and coriander leaves and mix well. Allow it to cool.
  3. Mix all dry ingredients and knead into a smooth and soft elastic dough using warm water and oil.
  4. Keep in an oiled bowl and cover with a cling film and keep it in a warm place for it to double in size.
  5. After it doubles in size, punch it down and fivide it into 17-18 equal sized balls.
  6. Make small puris out of it of approximately 2.5---3 inches diameter.
  7. Fill each puri with the filling and fold it like an open D.
  8. Pinch both ends together and keep it in an oiled round tin.
  9. See the arranged pattern.
  10. Keep it aside covered for 30-35 minutes. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes till the top is golden in colour.
  11. Apply butter on top and serve warm.
