Ingredients to make Honey Chilli Shrimp Fritters

  • For shrimp fritters : 7 tbsp multi purpose flour
  • 250 grams of shrimps
  • 3 tablespoon - onion (chop thinly)
  • 1 teaspoon - red chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoon - ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon - Finely chopped coriander to garnish
  • salt to taste.
  • oil for Deep frying
  • for sauce : 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 red capsicum roughly chopped
  • 1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
  • 1/2 tablespoon - red chilli sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoon vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chopped spring onions
  • 1 teapoon - sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoon Refined oil

How to make Honey Chilli Shrimp Fritters

  1. To make the fritters, Wash the shrimps thoroughly and drain all water ( very Important).
  2. Mix all the ingredients for fritters except the oil.
  3. Heat oil . Add one teaspoon of the batter and deep fry to get crispy fritters.
  4. Now to prepare the sauce, heat a heavy bottomed vessel, add oil and add the garlic and capsicum and saute on high flame for a few seconds.
  5. Add the red chili sauce, tomato sauce and vinegar and combine them all together.
  6. Add the fritters and toss for a minute on medium-high flame. Add honey and toss the content till well combined. Turn off the heat.
  7. Sprinkle roasted sesame seeds and garnish with spring onion greens or coriander leaves.
