Ingredients to make Basant panchami thali with rice

  • Strain water rice 250 gms
  • green peas 1 bowl
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • All ground masala 1 tsp
  • ginger Paste 1 Tsp
  • bay leaves 2
  • Pure ghee 2 tsp
  • oil as required
  • salt as required

How to make Basant panchami thali with rice

  1. Wash rice and strain water.
  2. Take a deep pan heat add oil then bay leaves. Now add ginger paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, tomato puree, chilli powder and rice.
  3. Mix well and stir continuously. Now add green peas.
  4. Now add warm water and close the lid till cook.
  5. After ten minutes open the lid add all ground spice and pure ghee.
  6. Serve with assorted recipe brinjal and bombai chilli stuffed, mix vegetables, tomato chutney and curd
