Ingredients to make Sennakunni (Dried Baby Shrimps ) Idli Podi

  • Sennakunni /Dried Baby Shrimps - 1/4 cup
  • Roasted Gram dal -1/2 cup
  • Dry Red Chillies -4
  • curry leaves -1 hand fistful
  • pepper - 1 tsp
  • salt -to taste

How to make Sennakunni (Dried Baby Shrimps ) Idli Podi

  1. *Dry roast the shrimps in low flame until nice aroma comes and it turns slightly brown.Keep it aside
  2. *Then dry roast the other ingredients except salt in a low flame.
  3. *Let everything gets cool, grind it to a coarse powder with enough salt.
  4. *Store it in a airtight box.
  5. *Serve it hot idli / dosa

My Tip:

*While serving this podi dont mix the podi in oil.
