Ingredients to make One Plate Meal.( multi cereal corn vege dhokala)

  • rice Soaked overnight and coarse grind and fermented for 7 to 8 hrs 2 cups.
  • Daals soaked overnight and grind and fermented for a day. 8 hrs. 2 cups ( Tur daal, Masoor daal, Moong daal)
  • wheat Rawa 1/2 cup.
  • besan 1/2 cup
  • Ragi 1/2 cup
  • Boiled corn 1 cup
  • spinach leaves washed and finely chopped 1 cup
  • bottle gourd grated 1/2 cup
  • garlic crushed 2 tsp
  • ginger grated 2 tsp
  • Salt, Chilli powder, turmeric to taste
  • coriander leaves finely chopped 2 tbsp
  • oil for seasoning 2 tbsp
  • curd to be added while fermentation 2 tbsp
  • asafoetida 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • sesame seeds 1 tbsp

How to make One Plate Meal.( multi cereal corn vege dhokala)

  1. Mix daal and Rice while grinding and add Curd in it.
  2. Keep for fermentation for 7 to 8 hrs at warm place.
  3. Add all flours , Veges to it.
  4. Add Ginger Garlic and all masala to the fermented batter.
  5. Add hot oil ( 2 tsp ) with soda and mix well.
  6. Grease a plate and spread the batter. Garnish with coriander leaves and steam till clear toothpick test.
  7. Season in hot oil with Asafoetida, Mustard seeds , Curry patta and Sesame seeds.
  8. Enjoy with Hot chocolate milk/ coffee/ Soup/ juice / buttermilk.

My Tip:

You can vary the vegetables like carrot, peas etc.
