Roti Rice Rolls

Ingredients to make Roti Rice Rolls

  • Roti or chapati..2
  • Boiled rice..1cup
  • Mix veggies...I have used beans and potato [any vegetables of your choice can be used]
  • red chilli sauce..1sp
  • tomato ketchup...1sp
  • salt
  • Garam masala..1sp
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Green chutney...2sp
  • coriander leaves for garnishing.
  • oil...2 to 3 sp.

How to make Roti Rice Rolls

  1. Heat about a tsp of oil in a pan.
  2. Add the cumin seeds and let them crackle.
  3. Now add the veggies and give it a stir.
  4. Mash it with the help of masher.
  5. Add tomato ketchup,red chilli sauce and green chutney.
  6. Mix well.
  7. Add salt and garam masala.
  8. Add boiled rice and mix properly.
  9. Squeeze juice of half lemon.
  10. Add chopped coriander leaves. Leave this mixture to cool for sometime.
  11. Now take two chapatis.
  12. Keep this rice mixture on chapati
  13. Make roll of chapatis.
  14. Take a pan.
  15. Add oil in the pan.
  16. Carefully put chapati rice rolls in the pan.
  17. Now spray oil or ghee on chapatis..and cook from all sides till color starts changing
  18. Now before serving..cut these rolls into half.
  19. Enjoy these spicy,tangy roti rice rolls.
