Ingredients to make Cooked rice fryums

  • One cup cooked rice
  • A tsp of salt
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • A tbsp of white sesame seeds
  • A tbsp of kalonji
  • A tbsp of cumin seeds
  • 2 -3 green chillies finely cut

How to make Cooked rice fryums

  1. First in a bowl take 2 cups of water and add the cooked rice to it
  2. Let it sit for 3-4 hours during
  3. After that strain the rice and by adding little water blend it to a paste
  4. Add all other ingredients and mix well
  5. In a clean dry polythene sheet drop them in small ball size and let in dry under the sun for 2-3 days
  6. Once they are completely dried can be easily peeled off from the sheet.
  7. Whenever required deep fry them and enjoy hot and crispy fryums.

My Tip:

Curry leaves and onion can also be added while making the batter.dry them completely before storing.if dried properly stays fresh for years.

Amazing fryums recipe! I find them so much better tasting than regular chips... best part is you can control the amount of salt....chips are so salty!
