Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Lauki (Bottle gourd). - 250gm
  2. Rice (soaked) - 5tbsp
  3. Milk - 5 cups
  4. Sugar - 8- 9 tbsp (adjust as per sweetness req.)
  5. Khoya - 1 cup
  6. ghee - 2tbsp
  7. Dry fruits (almond,pista,raisins) - 1/4th cup

Instructions

  1. Grate the lauki and strain to remove all water.Keep aside.
  2. Soak rice for 30 mins .Strain and grind to a coarse semolina like consistency
  3. In a pan add ghee and the grated lauki and saute for 5- 10 mins.Now add milk and let it boil.
  4. Now add the rice and mix well.Cook on slow flame till the rice gets cooked and you get a nice aroma.
  5. Finally add sugar,khoya.Mix well.Add the dry fruits .You can eat it hot or serve chilled .
