Ingredients to make Path rani machhi

  • For green chutney
  • 1 cup fresh grated coconut
  • 2 cups coriander leaves
  • 4 Green chilli
  • 1-2tsp garlic paste
  • 1tsp redchilli powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 11/2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • salt to taste
  • For the fish
  • banana leave
  • 1 cup green chutney
  • 500gms fish
  • 3tbsp vinegar or 2 lime
  • 1-2 tsp oil for reasing
  • salt to Taste

How to make Path rani machhi

  1. 1) gringo all the ingredients for green chutney to fine paste
  2. 2) take fish add vinegar and salt and let marinate for 1 her after 1 hr drain
  3. 3) take banana Leaf apply oil apply green chutney on both sides of the fish and wrap in banana leaf and tie a kitchen twine around the leaf
  4. 4) steam the fish for 30 min and serve hot

My Tip:

Use tender banana leaf so that u can wrap easily without breaking
