Ingredients to make White sauce Pasta with an Indian twist

  • Wheat pasta - half a packet
  • onion - 2 chopped
  • tomato - 1 chopped
  • ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
  • pepper powder - 1 tbsp
  • salt as needed
  • butter -1 tbsp
  • all purpose flour - 1/4 cup
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Italian dried herbs - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • few coriander leaves chopped
  • garam masala - 1/2 tbsp

How to make White sauce Pasta with an Indian twist

  1. In a pan, add oil. Add the garam masala and fry for a minute. Next add in the onions and fry.
  2. In a big pot of water, boil pasta until done. Drain and save for later. Add the ginger-garlic paste to it and fry for a few seconds.
  3. Add chopped tomatoes and fry well. In another pan and add butter, once melted add the flour and mix well.
  4. Now add milk to this, boil and stir until no lumps.
  5. Add this milk mixture to the onion - tomato sauce and add salt, pepper powder, dried herbs and mix well.
  6. Now add the pasta to this and finally add chopped coriander and serve warm with the sauce.

My Tip:

You can add boiled vegetables, stir fried veggies here as per your taste and preference like beans, cabbage, broccoli, carrots etc
