ABOUT Red fish curry. RECIPE

A simple fish curry with onion, red chillies, garlic & ginger. It goes well with rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fish-any fish of ur choice 10,cut into 2 or whole fish.
  2. Salt
  3. Turmeric
  4. Tamarind pulp 2 tbsp
  5. Tomato,big 1,chopped
  6. Chilli powder 1tsp
  7. To grind
  8. Small Onion 10
  9. Red chillies 10.
  10. Garlic cloves 10
  11. Ginger ,a small piece.
  12. To add to curry,
  13. Coconut oil 2 tbsp+ 1tsp
  14. curry leaves

Instructions

  1. Grind all the ingredients, given to a fine paste
  2. Take a pan,with 2 tbsp of oil. (If u dont like coconut oil,u can add any oil).add the ground masala ,chilli powder & chopped tomato. Fry well,for 5 min,or till oil seperates. U can sprinkle water,if it sticks to the bottom.
  3. Then add fish pieces,tamarind,salt & turmeric,along with 1 cup of water.
  4. Cover & cook for 10 min,or till fish is cooked.
  5. Add 1 tsp of coconut oil & curry leaves.
  6. Serve hot with rice.
