Ingredients to make Khichu

  • 3 cups water
  • 12 tbsp cuminseeds
  • 12 crushed greenchillies
  • 1 cup Rice flour
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp aachari masala

How to make Khichu

  1. Heat oil in kadai .
  2. Add water to it and bring to boil .
  3. Add cumin seeds , salt and greenchillies .
  4. Bring it to boil upto 34 mins .
  5. Add rice flour to it .
  6. stir it continuously with wooden spatula and keep cooking upto 78 mins.
  7. After 8 mins switch off flame and close the lid for 2 minutes.
  8. Now take Khichu in serving bowl ,
  9. Now sprinkle little oil and aachari masala and serve hot.
