Schezwan Fried Rice

Ingredients to make Schezwan Fried Rice

  • 1 cup Basmati rice
  • 5 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Teaspoon oil
  • 1 Medium carrot
  • 1 small capsicum
  • 1 Or 2 spring onion
  • 5 Or 6 French Beans
  • cabbage
  • 4 To 5 Gralic cloves
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Regular vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • salt as required
  • 2 Tablespoon Schezwan Sauce

How to make Schezwan Fried Rice

  1. Soak the rice in enough water for 30 minutes , drain and keep aside.
  2. In a pot, cook the rice with 5 cups of water with salt and oil.
  3. When rice are cooked, remove the pot and stain the rice. Rince the rice in water so that they stop cooking and dont stick to each other.
  4. Cover the rice and keep aside.
  5. Finely chop all the vegetables.
  6. Heat oil in a pan, add garlic and saute for 20 sec.
  7. Add onions and all other vegetables.
  8. Stir fry the vegetables in high flame.
  9. Keep stirring the vegetables in high heat till they are equally cooked or browned.
  10. When vegetables are cooked add schezwan sauce.
  11. Stir continusily and add the rice.
  12. Season with salt, pepper and vinegar.
  13. Toss them very well on high flame for 3 ro 4 minutes.
  14. Garnish the fried rice with spring onion and schezwan sauce.

My Tip:

You can also use schezwan fried rice masala to make them more spicy.
