ABOUT Fish Fry RECIPE

Delicious fish fry, easy, quick and perfect side dish to serve with rice and dal or rasam.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Fish - 300 gms
  2. Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  3. lemon juice - 1 tbsp
  4. Pepper powder - ½ tsp
  5. Chilly powder - 2 tsp
  6. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Oil - 1/2 cup
  9. FOR GARNISH:
  10. Green chillies - 2-3 chopped
  11. Curry leaves - 2 sprigs

Instructions

  1. Take the cleaned fish and pat dry with kitchen towel.
  2. Make slashes over the fish and keep aside.
  3. Take all the ingredients except oil in a small bowl and make a small paste.
  4. Take the fish in a mixing bowl. Rub the masala paste all over the fish including the slashes and marinate for sometime.
  5. Heat oil in a frying pan.
  6. First fry the green chillies and curry leaves till Curry leaves are crisp. Remove and keep aside.
  7. Next add the fish in batches and fry on low-medium heat till golden and crisp from outside.
  8. Garnish with fried chillies and curry leaves and serve.
