ABOUT Oats idly RECIPE

Oats is best for those who try to reduce their weight. It is always best to take oats in the morning. But taking oats in form if porridge, we hate bit though it is more healthy than taking in anyother form. So I sued to try different varieties using oats and oats idly is one among them

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Oats - 2 cups Rava ( Sooji) - 1 cup Curd - 3 cups Carrot -
  2. Onion - 1 Green Chillies - 4 Ginger- 1inch Eno salt-1pinch
  3. Seasoning Oil or ghee - 1 tsp Mustard seeds - I tsp
  4. Urad dhal - 1 tsp Channa dhal - 1 tsp Curry leaves - few
  5. Hing powder - 1/2 tsp salt as needed

Instructions

  1. Dry roast oats in a pan and grind it coarsely ( pls don't grind it to fine powder, it will change the texture and taste)...to this add rava, three cups of churned curd...since kids eating, I smashed green chilies and ginger And added,
  2. in a pan add oil, season with mustard seeds, urad dhal, channa dhal, hing powder, curry leaves, then add onion ( optional), grated carrot, ( other vegetables of your choice, green peas will give good taste) and mix everything well.
