How to make Oats idly

  1. Dry roast oats in a pan and grind it coarsely ( pls don't grind it to fine powder, it will change the texture and taste)...to this add rava, three cups of churned curd...since kids eating, I smashed green chilies and ginger And added,
  2. in a pan add oil, season with mustard seeds, urad dhal, channa dhal, hing powder, curry leaves, then add onion ( optional), grated carrot, ( other vegetables of your choice, green peas will give good taste) and mix everything well.

My Tip:

add them to the batter, mix and prepare idly in idly mould. I didn't used eno salt or cooking soda since I thought curd is enough ... You may use it for better results....
