Cracked Wheat and Paneer Gulab jamun.

Ingredients to make Cracked Wheat and Paneer Gulab jamun.

  • Cracked wheat cooked 1 1/2 cup
  • Homemade Soft paneer 1 cup
  • all purpose flour 2 heaped tsp
  • sugar 1 cup
  • Cardemom powder 1/2 tsp
  • saffron strands few.
  • Vannilla essence few drops
  • Canola oil for deep frying
  • ghee 1 tbsp

How to make Cracked Wheat and Paneer Gulab jamun.

  1. Heat Sugar and water and make syrup of one string consistancy
  2. Add Saffron strands by mixing in warm water to syrup.
  3. Mix cooked Wheat , paneer and all purpose flour. Add Cardemom powder to it.
  4. Knead soft. You can add 1 tsp of ghee to make kneading smooth.
  5. Make balls of lemon sized.
  6. Heat oil in a pan. Add ghee to give a better flavour.
  7. . Fry the Jamuns to low to medium flame.
  8. Drop carefully in hot syrup. Keep it to be soaked well for minimum 2 to 3 hrs.
  9. Enjoy your totally new taste Gulab jamun.

My Tip:

You can add milk powder or mava in replacement of Paneer. But i have used Paneer as it gives softness and a nice aroma to the recepie.
