If you get bored for regular common parathas, then try my innovation pav bhaji paratha.. process and flavours are of pav bhaji tried it by chance and came out very well.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup of whole wheat flour + some more for dusting
  2. 1 tbsp of semolina
  3. 1 cup of boiled and vegetables ( potato , cauliflour,cabbage,peas and carrot)
  4. Water if required
  5. 2 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  6. 2 tsp crushed green chilly
  7. 2 medium size onion finely chhoped
  8. handfull corriender leaves
  9. 1 normal sized lemon juice
  10. 4 tsp Red chilly powder
  11. 1 tsp turmeric powder
  12. 4 tsp paw bhaji masala
  13. 1 tsp cumin seeds
  14. 1 tsp Asafoetida
  15. Salt to taste
  16. 1 tbsp oil
  17. Amul butter

Instructions

  1. first in a bowl take boiled vegetables and mash it properly
  2. add red chilly powder,turmeric powder , asafoetida,salt, paw bhaji masala, and cumin seeds into it and give it a good mix
  3. now add ginger garlic paste, crushed green chillies and mix again keep aside
  4. now in another bowl take wheat flour add semolina and oil and mix with hands
  5. now transfer our paw bhaji mixture and onions into it and knead a soft dough ,add some water if required
  6. grease the dough with oil and divide into equal size balls
  7. roll out a paratha with a rolling pin
  8. now brush the top of paratha with some drops of lemon juice and sprinkle some corriender leaves on it and roll it once to stick corriender leaves
  9. heat a griddle and roast pasta with butter on medium heat till crisp
  10. roast all the prathas in same manner
  11. serve hot with butter , sauce and pickle of your choice
