Ingredients to make Rice and Indian spice Mini Burger

  • For burger tikki,1 cup rice
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/4 Tsp asafoetida
  • 8-10 curry leaves
  • 2 GREEN chilli CHOPPED
  • 1 medium size onion chopped
  • 2 tsp Corn flour
  • 1/2 lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp home made garam masala
  • 3 tsp roast and coarsaly grind ground nut seed
  • 2 tsp fresh decicated coconut
  • 1 Medium size Grated carrot
  • 1/4 cup boiled and crushed green peas
  • Fresh coriender leaves chopped
  • oil for cooking
  • salt to taste
  • For mini chapati,1 cup rice flour
  • 3/4 cup water
  • salt to taste
  • 1-2 tsp oil
  • 3/4 tsp carrom seeds
  • Few tomato,lemon cubes,toothpick and coriender leaves for garnish
  • tomato sauce,coriender chutney and sweet curd for taste

How to make Rice and Indian spice Mini Burger

  1. In a bowl wash rice and soaked it.
  2. In pressure cooker heat oil add cumin and mustard seeds in it when cracked add onion,when colour change add curry leaves and asafoetida in it.
  3. When plesent smell come add rice in it,now add salt and 1 and 1/2 cup of water in it and cover it to cook.after one whistle switch of gas and left to cool.when it cool mash it with potato masher.
  4. When mashed add lemon juice,chopped green chillies,garam masala,grated carrot,boiled and chopped green peas,roast and coarsaly grind ground nut , decicated coconut,corn flour and coriender leaves in it and mix well.
  5. After mix make small sized tikkis of it and pan fry it till crisp or golden brown in colour.
  6. In other side,heat water in pan add oil,salt and carrom seeds in it when hot add rice flour in it,mix it and cover it for 2 min.
  7. In other side boil water in steamer.
  8. When rice flour slightly cooled make medium thickness of chappati of it with help of rolling pin and cut the chappati in round same size like tikkis with cookie cutter.now place this small size chappati in steamer and cook it in steam.
  9. When chappati is ready and tikkis cooked and crisp now assemble this to like burger.
  10. Take two mini chappati spread tomato sauce,green chutney and sweet curd now place tikki over it and cover it with other chappati.use all chutney and sauce as per taste.
  11. Garnish it with tomato,lemon and coriender and serve hot.
