Mouth-melting sweet flowers that can be savored on any occasion

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rice: ½ cup soaked in water for 20-25 mins
  2. Peanuts : ½ cup
  3. Grated fresh coconut : ½ cup
  4. Powdered Jaggery : ½ cup
  5. Cardamom Powder: ½ tsp
  6. Ghee : 1 - 2 tsp

Instructions

  1. - Roast the peanuts in a pan and grind it into a little coarse powder and set aside.
  2. - Add ghee in a pan, combine and mix the coconut and jaggery in it till the jaggery melts.
  3. - Now add the peanut powder and mix very well. Cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes. When it thickens, add the cardamom powder and mix well. Allow it to cool and roll it into small round shaped balls.
  4. - Drain water from the rice completely and spread it into a plate.
  5. - Now roll the balls in the rice such that the balls get coated with rice uniformly.
  6. - Place them in a greased idly plates and steam them for 10 - 15 minutes. Stuffed Rice Flowers are ready
