  • Aata ( whole wheat flour ) - 1 katori
  • sugar- 1katori
  • Desi ghee - 1 katori
  • water - 2katoris ( Luke warm)

How to make Aata halwa ( wheat flour halwa )

  1. Heat ghee in a kadahi and in another pan boil the water . Water should be Luke warm .
  2. Add aata to the ghee and stir well
  3. Keep stirring till the aata turns dark brown . Be careful at this stage , aata should not get burnt .
  4. Put the flame on low and add sugar , mix it well .
  5. Now carefully add the luke warm water and put the flame off . ( YES , PUT THE FLAME OFF )
  6. Stirr immediately and vigorously but carefully too till all the water dries up and the halwa leaves the sides of the kadahi .
  7. Serve hot hot
