Whole Wheat Moong Dal Fries

Ingredients to make Whole Wheat Moong Dal Fries

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1cup cooked moong dal
  • 1/2 tspn Carromseeds/Ajwaain
  • 1 tspn red chilli powder
  • 1cup fine cut onions
  • 1 tspn cummin seeds
  • salt to taste
  • Corriander chopped
  • oil to deep fry

How to make Whole Wheat Moong Dal Fries

  1. 2 cup whole wheat flour
  2. Add chopped onion , carrom seeds and cummin to the flour
  3. To this add the ready Dal and sum spices mentioned
  4. Knead flour mixing well and grease with 2-3 spoons of oil
  5. Rest flour till oil to deep fry gets hot
  6. Roll into a roti well and cut strips and rwist while frying
  7. Fry well remove as golden in colour
  8. Can also make small poori types
  9. Serve hot or keep in Airtight boxes

My Tip:

If you have no left over dal please dnt worry can boil sum moongdal with all sices of choice and use Do a tight poori dough For very crispy add more oil to knead flour
