Soya Biryani

Ingredients to make Soya Biryani

  • Basmati rice - 4 cup
  • Soya Chunks– 50 gm
  • onion – 3 medium size
  • ginger - 20 gm
  • garlic – 12 flakes
  • green chillies - 20 gm
  • red chilli powder – 2 tea spoon
  • coriander leaves – 30 gm
  • 2 tea spoon - garam masala
  • 3 tea spoon - cumin
  • black paper – 10 gm
  • Veg oil – 2 ½ table spoon
  • green cardamom – 4
  • bay leaves – 3
  • cloves – 7
  • Star anis - 2 pieces
  • cinnamon cardamom – 1
  • cucumber -1
  • lemon – 1
  • salt as per taste

How to make Soya Biryani

  1. • Wash and clean Soya chunks properly & pour some water into the soya chunks and keep aside for 1 or ½ hours.
  2. • After that press chunks and remove the excess water from it.
  3. • Make the fine paste of ginger, garlic and green chillies & finely cut onions.
  4. • Heatveg oil into the deep frying pan and add cumin, black pepper, green cardamom, cloves, star anis, and finely cut onions and fry these ingredients till light golden colour.
  5. • Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, coriander leaves&saltfry little after that add soya chunks mix it well.
  6. • In a pressure cooker pour some oil, cumin and bay leave fry for 1 min then add basmati rice, 8 cups of water salt to taste cook rice partial. (not completely)
  7. • In a large utensil polish some oil and soya chunks mixture & partial cooked rice and cook till well cooked.
  8. • After that tasty “Biryani ready for Eat”.
  9. • Place a Soya Biryani into the plate and garnish with cucumber, green coriander leaves, lemon and serve hot.
  10. • You can eat biryani with cucumber riata also.
