Ingredients to make Crispy prawns

  • Prawns- 250 gms
  • Salt, turmeric and turmeric- as per our taste
  • ginger garlic paste- 1tsp
  • lemon Juice - few drops
  • Orange food colour - 1 pinch
  • egg -1
  • Bread crumbs- 2 bread slices

How to make Crispy prawns

  1. Clean prawns with salt and turmeric to avoid any chance of food poisoning
  2. In a bowl add salt, chilli powder, ,turmeric Ginger garlic paste and little orange food colour and few drops of lemon juice.
  3. Mix well and marinate for 1 hour in refrigerator
  4. Just before serving the food , heat oil in a skillet
  5. In a bowl break an egg and whisk well. In another plate keep bread crumbs ready.
  6. Now take out each prawn and dip in egg batter and roll it in bread crumbs and drop it in hot oil.
  7. We can also use oven at 180C for 20 min or even non stick tawa and shallow fry.
  8. Take out the crispy prawns and transfer to a serving plate

My Tip:

Prawns are very tasty , but please eat sparingly so as to avoid high cholesterol.
