Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Fish - 4 nos
  2. Oil - 1/2 cup
  3. bay leaves - 1
  4. Red chilly while - 2
  5. Cumin - 1 tsp
  6. Salt - 1/2 tsp
  7. Turmeric pwd - 1 tsp
  8. Cumin pwd- 1 tsp
  9. Red chilly powder- 1/2 tsp
  10. Garam masala ( cinnamon, clove, cardamom)- 1/2tsp
  11. Ginger paste - 1/2tsp
  12. Chopped tomato - 1 nos

Instructions

  1. 1 . Slit the fish as shown in the pics and smear with salt and turmeric powder.
  2. 2 . Fry in mustard oil and keep aside
  3. 3 . Add whole cumin seeds, bay leaf, and red chilly in same oil. Followed by tomato, ginger paste and all masalas except garam masala.
  4. 4 .cook for few minutes. Add water when oil separate out from masalas and boil for 2 minutes.
  5. 5 . Add fish once the gravy is made. Add garam masala and cover it.
  6. 6 . Fish is ready to serve after 5 minutes.
