Ingredients to make Rice pops. ( kids recepie )

  • Cooked rice 1 cup
  • Grated Carrot 1/4 cup.
  • Mixed Sprouts ( Moong , Math) 1/2 cup
  • Paneer grated 1/4 cup
  • Cheese grated 2 cubes
  • Egg yolks 2 or Egg 1
  • Wheat flour 3 tsp ( heaped)
  • Parseley dried 1/2 tsp
  • Basil dried 1/2 tsp
  • Cayenne pepper powder to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp

How to make Rice pops. ( kids recepie )

  1. Season cooked rice in 1/2 tsp oil with Zeera .Add salt.
  2. Dry grind coarse Sprouts. Mix Rice, Sprouts and grated Carrot.
  3. Add grated Cheese and Paneer. Add all masala and herbs
  4. Add baking powder in egg yolks and beat well. Add to the Rice mixture.. Add 1 tbsp Olive oil.
  5. Preheat oven at 200 C. Drizzle some olive oil on the baking tray.
  6. Now make Pops or Tikki shaped balls and bake for 20 to 25 minutes till it gets brown colour.
  7. Enjoy with Mayonnaise or Tomato ketchup for kids.

My Tip:

You can add different veges like bottle gourd , Sweet corn , Shreded Cabbage. If you don't want to use egg than adjust quantity of Paneer ( some more) and baking powder too.
