Ingredients to make Agar agar cake

  • Milk- 1 litre
  • sugar- 1 cup ( we can add more if we need more sweet)
  • badam - 1 cup ( powdered)
  • Elachi-2 ( powdered with 2 spoons of sugar)
  • Agar agar pack- 1
  • Cashews and badam - chopped

How to make Agar agar cake

  1. Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan
  2. Next slow the flame and add badam powder, sugar and chopped nuts
  3. Now add agar agar powder slowly little by little and stirring the laddle. Let it come to a boil and when the milk gets thickened, switch off the stove and pour it into our choice of bowls or shaped vessels.
  4. Let it set for 1 hour and then close the lid and keep it chilled.
  5. At the time of our celebration, take out our agar agar cake and it can be cut like a cake.
  6. Chilled cake tastes great.

My Tip:

If we have pre boiled milk, it will save our time. Use whole fat milk for thick cake.
