Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. For the pastry dough :
  2. Flour - 1.25 cups
  3. Butter - 1/2 cup
  4. Ice water - 3 tbsp
  5. Vegetable curry :
  6. Chopped onion - 1
  7. Boiled corn kernels - 1/2 cup
  8. Chopped carrots- 1/4th cup
  9. Chopped beans - 1/4 th cup
  10. Chopped spring onions - 2 tbsp
  11. Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  12. Red chilly powder - 1/2tsp
  13. oregano
  14. Basil
  15. Salt
  16. Refined oil
  17. Boiled eggs - 3

Instructions

  1. In a food processor or mixer, add the cold butter (the butter must be cold and cut into cubes), flour and pulsate in two or three pulses.
  2. Add the ice water and pulsate or blend till everything is mixed. Pour the dough into a bowl and mix it, cover it and keep it refrigerated for 30 minutes.
  3. For the vegetable curry , heat a pan with some oil. Add the chopped onion and saute till golden brown.
  4. Now add the ginger garlic paste, red chilly powder , salt and then stir. Then add the chopped vegetables.
  5. Finally add the the corns, oregano and basil.
  6. Now roll the dough and cut squares out of the same. Cut the boiled eggs into halves.
  7. Take each square and put a spoon of the vegetable curry in the middle. Put a half of the boiled eggs.
  8. Apply a little water to opposite ends of the square. Bring one end onto foe middle and seal it by bringing for other end on top.
  9. Bake them at 180℃ in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes.
