Moong urad dosa

Ingredients to make Moong urad dosa

  • Moond dal - 1 cup
  • Urad dal - 1/2 cup
  • green chillies - 2
  • asafoetida/ hing - 1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • oil for frying dosa

How to make Moong urad dosa

  1. Soak moong dal and urad dal together for 2 hours. Grind to a smooth batter.
  2. Transfer the batter to a bowl. Add salt, asafoetida and chopped green chillies.
  3. Heat a tawa. Drizzle a few drops of oil.
  4. Pour a ladle full of batter and spread a little. Close the lid keeping the flame low.
  5. Now flip the other side of the dosa and roast well.
  6. Serve hot with coriander chutney or butter.

My Tip:

The batter should neither be too thick nor too watery.
