Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chopped, de-seeded dates 1/2 cup
  2. Flax seeds 2 tablespoons
  3. Chia seeds 2 tablespoons
  4. Almonds, cashewnuts and walnuts mixed 1/2 cup
  5. Raisins 1/4 Cup
  6. Dried cranberries 1/4 cup
  7. Candied ginger 6-8 pieces
  8. Dried golden berries with sugar 1/4 cup
  9. Oats 1/2 cup
  10. Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
  11. Dark chocolate chips 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Lightly dry roast the oats and mixed nuts on medium flame, for 3-4 minutes. Let them cool down completely.
  2. Take the roasted oats and nuts in a large mixer jar. Add all the other ingredients.
  3. Pulse for a couple of seconds, stop, and mix up the ingredients well. Repeat these three steps till you get a coarse paste.
  4. Pat the mixture into the bottom of an air-tight box.
  5. Store the box, closed, in the refrigerator for at least half an hour. The mixture will set in this time. Do not put in the freezer.
  6. After half an hour, remove from freezer and cut the mixture into Squares.
  7. The squares can be stored either in the refrigerator or at room temperature, in an air-tight box.
