Singapore rice

Ingredients to make Singapore rice

  • 500g chicken breast cubed
  • 1 carrot cubed
  • 1/2 cup cabbage shredded
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 bell pepper chopped
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp pepper powder
  • 2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • coriander leaves
  • Oil/butter
  • salt
  • 200g basmati rice
  • 200 g noodles
  • chilli mayonnaise

How to make Singapore rice

  1. Heat butter in a pan.
  2. Add onions & fry till translucent.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste followed by chicken.
  4. Saute for 2 min.
  5. Add all the veggies, pepper and chilli powder.
  6. Cook until the chicken is cooked well.
  7. Add in the ketchup, soya sauce, lemon juice & coriander leaves.
  8. Leave it aside.
  9. Cook 200g of basmati rice in boiling water & drain.
  10. Similarly cook 200g noodles and drain.
  11. Layering:
  12. Layer rice in the bottom of the tray you are going to serve.
  13. Top it with boiled noodles.
  14. Then spread the prepared chicken sauce.
  15. Serve with chilli mayo :spaghetti:.Slurp
