Ingredients to make Vada pao

  • 4-5 boiled potatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green chilli
  • Chopped coriander leaves
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp amchoor powder
  • dhania ki chutney
  • saunth ki chutney
  • 2 pao
  • 2 tbsp besan
  • water for making batter
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp ajwain(optional/

How to make Vada pao

  1. Mash boiled potatoes add chopped onions and green chilli
  2. Add all the masalas
  3. mix properly and make small balls
  4. Add oil in a wok get it hot
  5. Meanwhile prepare the besan batter.
  6. Add 2 tbsp of besan add water(gradually) check the consistency. it should not be thin
  7. Add salt red chilli powder and ajwain(optional)
  8. mix into the batter
  9. as the oil is ready for frying
  10. Dip the prepared into besan batter and put in hot oil for frying
  11. take it out on tissue paper
  12. take pao cut in between
  13. Spread green chutney on one side and saunth chutney on other slice of pao
  14. put vada/bonda inside the pao
  15. serve hot with garam garam chai and narma narma talks!!
  16. serve with luv!!
