Ingredients to make Pachi pulsu

  • 15 gms tamarind (soaked in water)
  • 200ml water
  • salt as per taste (11/2 tsp)
  • 10gms jaggery
  • 2 green chilli
  • Fresh corriander leaves a handfull
  • 1 onion (medium)
  • For tempering
  • 1/4tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 red chiili
  • cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric 1/8 Tsp
  • oil 2tsp

How to make Pachi pulsu

  1. Soak tamarind for 15 min.
  2. Take out the tamarind pulp properly u can keep adding water till u used up mentioned in the recipe.
  3. Add onions ,corriander, jaggery and mix very well with ur hands add salt
  4. Take a small wok add oil let it heat up well add ur mustard seeds,cumin let them splutter add red chilli let it fry add curry leaves add turmeric
  5. Add the tempering to the tamarind jucice when the temparing is hot u should hear the sizzle when u add it to the tamarind mixture.
