Ingredients to make Cornflakes puffedrice / murmura jaggery ladoo

  • Puffed rice / murmura : 2-1/2 cup (dry roast)
  • Cornflakes (multigrain and honey mix) : 1/2 cup
  • jaggery / Gurd : 3/4 cup
  • Unsalted butter : 2 tbsp

How to make Cornflakes puffedrice / murmura jaggery ladoo

  1. In a heavy bottom kadai take butter, heat it on slow flame. Add jaggery and melt it on slow, stirring continuously.
  2. Add roasted puffed rice and cornflakes. Mix it well on slow flame. Switch off the gas.
  3. Take ice cold water in a bowl. Dip your hands in water and make small ladoo from the mixture. If mixture becomes hard again keep the kadai on slow flame, jaggery will melt and make small ladoo.
  4. Place these ladoos in a greased plate. Keep aside for 1/2 hour to set.
  5. Cornflakes puffed rice jaggery ladoos are ready to eat.

My Tip:

*in this whole process of making ladoos you have to be quick.
