Rose Flavored Coconut Ladoo

Ingredients to make Rose Flavored Coconut Ladoo

  • coconut grated - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Cardamon powder - ¼ tsp
  • rose syrup - 3-4 drops

How to make Rose Flavored Coconut Ladoo

  1. Take the grated coconut in a grinder cup and pulse for few seconds and grind it finely.
  2. Heat a non stick pan. Add the coconut into it (retaining some for coating)and dry roast for 5 mins in low-medium flame.
  3. Add the milk and sugar, mix well and let it heat. Sugar will begin to melt.
  4. Add the Cardamon powder and the rose flavour, mix very well till it is incorporated nicely.
  5. Stir continously and cook till it reaches a dough like consistency which will take approx 10-15 mins.
  6. Take off the heat and make balls when the mixture is still warm. Do not let it cool down completely or else you will not be able to make the balls.
  7. Roll the ladoos in the reserved coconut and serve.

My Tip:

I have used fresh coconut, you can use dessicated coconut.
