Mango Cake

Ingredients to make Mango Cake

  • All purpose Flour 1 Cup
  • Mango Pulp 1/2 Cup
  • Sweet condensed milk 1/2 Cup
  • Powder sugar 1/2 Cup
  • Butter 1/3 Cup (5 tbsp)
  • Egg 1
  • Baking Powder 1 tsp
  • Baking soda 1/4 tsp
  • Vanilla Essence 1/8 tsp
  • Walnut finely chopped 1/4 Cup (optional)
  • Salt 1/8 tsp

How to make Mango Cake

  1. Melt the butter in a microwave.
  2. Take a large bowl, put in the melted butter along with the condensed milk, mango pulp, powder sugar and mix it well together.
  3. Next, add in the egg, vanilla essence, salt and mix all these ingredients well.
  4. Finely add in the chopped walnuts and mix again.
  5. Sieve the flour, baking powder and baking soda in a bowl, stir well and make sure that no lumps are formed.
  6. Add the dry ingredients into the butter mixture and mix it well without forming any lumps.
  7. Grease a cake pan with butter and dust it with a little all purpose flour. (This helps the cake to come out of the pan easily)
  8. Preheat the oven to 180 degree Celsius/350 degree Fahrenheit and bake this cake for 25 minutes.
My Tip: – I have used walnuts, you can use either cashews or raisins. – You can also skip the egg to prepare this cake if you are a vegetarian.
