Ingredients to make Beetroot Matar Malai

  • Beet - 1 big or 2 medium size(approx.25gm ,chopped)
  • onion - 1
  • ginger - 1 small pc
  • Chillies - 2
  • tomatoes -2
  • peas - 1/4 th cup(blanched n softened)
  • Fresh cream - 2 tbsp
  • lemon juice - 1tsp
  • hing - 1/4 th tsp
  • jeera - 1 tsp

How to make Beetroot Matar Malai

  1. Grind together the beet ,tomatoes ,onion ,chillies n ginger to a coarse paste.Keep aside
  2. In a pan ,add 2 tsp ghee,add hing,zeera ,fry lil .Then add the beet paste.
  3. Cook in medium flame .Add salt.Cook till ghee starts oozing from the sides.
  4. Finally add lemon juice and cream.
