Ingredients to make Fried saucy chicken with potato crisps

  • Chicken legs 2 cut into 4 pieces
  • Ginger and garlic paste 1/2 tsp. each
  • Chilly powder 1/2 tsp.
  • Pepper 1/2 tsp.
  • Garam masala 1/2 tsp.
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Tomato sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp. Oil
  • Bay leaf 1
  • Cinnamon 1
  • 1 medium sized Onion cut into thin slices

How to make Fried saucy chicken with potato crisps

  1. Wash and pat dry the chicken pieces. Marinate chicken pieces by adding salt, chili powder, ginger-garlic paste for 10 minutes.
  2. Take a thick bottom pan and add oil along with sugar. Allow this to caramelize.
  3. Start to add one by one the whole condiments. To this add onions and on medium flame fry for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Now add chicken pieces and fry till they turn brown on all sides. Cook covered until chicken is completely cooked.
  5. Add in sauce, pepper and garam masala. On medium flame fry till chicken turn tender.

My Tip:

Maggie hot and sweet gives the unique flavour. Add 1/2 .tsp soya for colour.
