About Easy Pasta with tomato sauce Recipe

Hello everyone, every time we go to a restaurant to have pasta, we enjoy the taste and think its really a time taking process and tough to prepare at home. Well even i was under the same assumption. I tried the same pasta at home, Hurray!! it came out restaurant style and got over in a jiffy!!!!

Easy Pasta with tomato sauce

Ingredients to make Easy Pasta with tomato sauce

  • Pasta any type 200 gms (I used thin spaghetti )
  • Tomato 1 can (400 gms) (you can use fresh tomatoes)
  • garlic 3 cloves
  • oregano herb To taste
  • Dried parsley To taste
  • Black pepper powder To taste
  • Red chili flakes To taste
  • olive oil 2 Tbspoon
  • salt To taste
  • sugar 1 Tspoon

How to make Easy Pasta with tomato sauce

  1. In a vessel add water until its half full, add salt and bring to a boil.
  2. When you see bubbles in the vessel, add pasta and boil for 10 mins.
  3. After 10 mins, take out pasta and see if its cooked. (Take out pasta and pinch it using fork if it’s breaking easily then it means its cooked enough).
  4. Drain water from the pasta and set aside.
  5. In a pan add olive oil, add garlic and stir well.
  6. Then add tomatoes, mix well until the raw smell leaves.
  7. Add chili flakes, pepper powder, sugar, salt and stir well (Note we have added salt to the pasta already. Add salt just enough for tomato sauce).
  8. When the tomatoes are cooked enough, add pasta and herbs.
  9. Mix well until the gravy gets coated nicely with pasta.
  10. Cook for 1 min and switch off the stove. Add cheese of your choice if desired.

My Tip:

– I used canned tomatoes, if you’re using fresh ones- take 5 tomatoes blanch them – boil water, add the tomatoes and cook on medium flame for 10 mins or until the skin starts to split and peel off. Peel off the skin,deseed it and puree the tomatoes till smooth – You can add any cheese in it if you like in the end and serve
