Apple Toffee

Ingredients to make Apple Toffee

  • apple - 1 cut into slices
  • Refine flour - 5tbsp
  • Cornflour - 3tbsp
  • salt - 2/4tsp
  • sugar - 6tbsp
  • water - 1tbsp
  • Ice cold water - one bowl
  • Roasted seasame seeds - for garnishing

How to make Apple Toffee

  1. Take a bowl add refine flour and Cornflour together ,add 1/4tsp salt .mix all well.
  2. Then add water gradually and make semi thik batter.
  3. Meanwhile heat kadai with enough oil for deep frying.
  4. Add Apple slices into the batter. Then place batterd apple into the hot oil.deep fry Apple in medium heat till golden brown..
  5. Take out from kadai and place Apple fritters in the absorbent paper .
  6. For caramel ---- heat saucepan ,add sugar and 1tbsp water..cook till caramel form in medium -low heat.turn off gas
  7. Quickly add Apple fritters into the caramel.turn apple to coat caramel..drop caramel coated apple in to the ice cold water to set caramel..
  8. Then drain Apple from cold water.place it on serving plate..spread some caramel over the Apple toffee.....sprinkle roasted seasame seeds...serve Apple toffe with ice cream.

My Tip:

Do not stir sugar when you will make caramel...coated apple with caramel carefully .do not touch caramel with your fingers otherwise it can give you third degree burn.
